8 Tips for Writing Great Brochure Content
If you had an unlimited budget, sure
.you could produce one super, amazingly clever brochure. But lets face it; most of us arent running multimillion dollar companies. We run small businesses, providing a solid service and wed like to let people know. Your brochure should reflect exactly this.
Good news is you dont need pop-up illustrations on your brochure to grab attention.
What exactly do you need in order to leave a lasting impression? Lets look at some key elements to creating valuable content and appealing design that strikes a chord with your reader.
#1 - The most important information to communicate in your brochure is what exactly are you selling service, product or otherwise? When you begin to craft the content for this, consider who your reader is. What problem are they dealing with and, importantly, how will YOU solve it. Let the reader know that you understand their plight.
#2- Spend more time directing your information in connecting to your reader by understanding their needs, rather than making it sound like you are simply talking about yourself. If the reader feels like you are talking to them, then job well done!
#3 Include Free tips and information in your brochure both are great ways to create value! Get creative. Every business can come up with a useful bit of information to deliver something that will inspire your reader to hold onto your brochure as reference for later or even pass it along to a friend or colleague.
